On Monday 23rd February 2026, Rebecca and Millie were proud to represent MIMA Mortgage and Protection Adviceat the Stonebridge National Conference & Awards 2026, which this year was held at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport. Beyond the chance to connect with our industry peers, we are coming home with two major national wins that mean the world to us as a business.
The highlight of the day was the awards ceremony, where MIMA placed 2nd 🥈and came highly commended for the Top Business Partner Award (Small business) which recognises firms with up to four advisers. As a team with only two advisers, being recognised among other accomplished firms and achieving second place is a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment to our clients that defines MIMA every day.
We were also thrilled with the news that MIMA’s director and founder, Rebecca Shuttle, also achieved 2nd 🥈 place and came highly commended in the Top Adviser Awards, out of 1,384 advisers across the Stonebridge network throughout the UK. To be placed so highly amongst such a large group of skilled professionals is an incredible achievement.
As women in finance, we’re passionate about bringing a personal, dedicated touch to mortgage and protection advice. Ranking this highly on a national scale shows that you don’t need a massive corporate office to achieve world-class results—you just need hard work and a commitment to doing right by your clients. These represent our dedication to breaking barriers and delivering for our clients.
The conference itself was an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow advisers from across the country, sharing market insights and hearing about the priorities and economics shaping the year ahead. The day concluded with an inspiring keynote from double Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes, and the awards ceremony was kicked off in style by magician and entertainer Ben Hanlin, which was a great way to round off a truly memorable event.
